Uuuggghhh!
Ok, getting ready for moving the trailer out west for the rest of the summer and ran into a huge mess! Fricken mice have taken over the place.. pretty much have to gut the inside of everything, vacuum from top to bottom, then disinfect. Thats the downside to having a trailer out here... if you ignore it for even a month, you'll have new residents. My traps caught two the first day, and two others jumped ship when I hooked it up and moved it to the driveway for a heavy cleaning.

Wear a good mask. Hanta virus from dear mice (gray with long tails) is not a funny matter. Protect yourself and your family good buddy.
By the way, We doing Vedder this year?

Re: Uuuggghhh!
I picked up a couple kittens a year and a half ago just for that purpose. However, where I live, outside cats are food for the numerous coyotes, bobcats, racoons, and cougars. My family played me and they are strictly inside now. Good news.. no mice inside! we have trapped and killed about 12 mice in the garage, trailer, and around the perimeter of the house. My wife calls it her trapline.

Bob
About 6 years ago when I was still at PP, I posted a couple articles on different traps. One of them was on how to make the perfect safe mouse trap that just keeps on catching! It's safe around your pets and kids and it working 24 hrs a day. All you need is a pop can, a piece of 1/8 steel rod, two small pull ties and a 5 gallon plastic bucket and a 30 inch long stick about 1 inch wide. The picture below shows you how to make but if you have any question, feel free to ask. I fill the bucket with about 3 or 4 inches of water and add about a half coup of beach into it.
The bleach kills and germs from old dead mice and stops the odder too. That way you don't have to check it but once a week or so. I also use a pair of those cheap long food prongs that you can buy at the dollar stores to pick the dead mice out with. You can leave it in your shops, barn, trailer or boat and it just keeps on working! I use peanut butter around the can and it works great. After about a month or so, you will need to clean off the old peanut butter and put new on to keep the trap work best.
Enjoy!!
