What's wrong with some of you? The people who have the powers weren't too worried about the original person who "claimed" to be "bruce". Measures were taken, to see if it was or was not really Bruce, so why were you so worried? Don't let the internet trollers jerk your guy's chains so easily!

Ever forum comes under attract, and it's up to the administrators to counter such attacks. That is exactly what was done here.

Enough said...now lets all move on to the next "bashing"!!!!

Aw yeah the good 'ol days, back when these forums were to set up fishing trips, campout and just time to get together, where have they gone? It would be nice to have a good chili feed and family fun! Maybe winter Seelheading on the Cow?

Wow!! I take some time away to deal with family issues and look what happens. I got a "troll" calling me a snaggletooth so I know they dont know me that well. I put alot of money into these teeth.

Here is the thing. All of you have been lured into the trap. Now you are fighting among yourselves and you have always at least been civil to each other before and alot of good humored ribbing was going on. Now you are at each others throats and I hate to see that. Step back, take a look at whats happening and stop letting things like this get to you, there are other things that should be more important than someone coming onto a site and causing problems. I dont even care if it was Bruce or not that started it, I have more important things to worry about - like a son that has been diagnosed with cancer and has twins on the way in February.

Pick your fights wisely because alot of the energy and passion and anger that you have now may be needed later on..my energy, passion and anger are directed at something that means alot more to me than a grudge towards someone who means nothing to me.

DJ, you are a good man and have always treated me with respect and I hope I did the same towards you. So dont let all of this get to you. Put some of that passion towards something good. Lamefisher, you have a great insight into me and I respect you for that. You brought me back to earth when I was swayed in a bad direction. Boater: I hope that just because you and Bruce made amends that you would not allow him to come here and berate your members but yet in a previous thread the members were told to lay off Bruce. I hope that is going both ways. The thread should have been locked like the other Bruce bashing threads were. I know you want us to moderate ourselves, but when the tension is so high like it is now, it would have been better to moderate. Just my thoughts.

Sorry to hear that about your son Fishloveme.

But not everyone here took offense to what was said by this person (some us actually laughed). Sure the thread could have been locked, but what would that accomplish? The people who responded have a lot of anger and in some cases rightfully so. I have a line that follows most of my posts..."is the taste of the bait worth the sting of the hook?"

Sorry to hear about your son. I hope things work out! Newborn twins will definitely make the battle worth fighting! My sister just had her two year cancer free checkup on Monday. Things looked pretty bad in the beginning, but she decided that she was willing to take whatever was dished out because her kids needed her around. Its amazing what maternal/paternal instincts will allow you to endure! We'll be pulling for him, and you!

This thread kicks ass.

If you are still viewing "Bruce" why don't you spend your time in a more productive fashion?

Try this...

I've found this thread and the characters getting all worked up in it to be quite amusing...though I'll admit I'm a little surprised it's still going...here's my help to keep it moving along...

Fish on...

lol!
How I learned NOT to believe all that I read on the internet.....

Last week, I was walking past the mental hospital, and all the patients were shouting, '13....13....13.'

The fence was too high to see over, but I saw a little gap in the planks, so I looked through to see what was going on.....

Some bastard poked me in the eye with a stick!

Then they all started shouting '14....14....14...

Whose going to be 15...15...15...?
