You gotta stop believing everything your told or dream about.

Very few people I know have gone over 100 mph in a boat. And yes I have in a APBA sanctioned event in Fremont, CA. in 1986.

I will promise you that you have no clue what it feels like. I will also bet that your "friend" is just as clueless if he claims it will run over 100 mph, let alone with 6 people in it.

Back to Antlersheds question............alot depends on your load. It could easily be on the edge as far as power.
