Need some input from ya BBQ snobs

Post by Down Yonder BBQ on 22nd March 2009, 11:50 am

We have finally batched a new season salt for the BBQ folk in mind, has some bite but not enough to bother some of ya sissy's, so tell us how we should package it. 8oz, 16oz, or 32 oz containers....................Thanks

I'd say about 8 ounces for the BBQ "hobbyist" as that's about what I mix up for rubs and mine lasts about a year.

I would say 8 oz. I looked in my spice cabinet and almost everything I buy is 6 to 8 oz containers.
But I do have a couple 12 oz and 16 oz ones. But the larger ones are products I tried in the smaller version and liked so I bought bigger ones. My big containers are also rubs not seasoning salt. All my seasoning salts are 8 oz or smaller.

I was gonna say 8 but the ones I like and use a lot I am now buying in 12's and would buy bigger if I could.

Depending on cost to package offer both?

When I find something I like, I buy bigger. When I'm trying it out, I like smaller. Not sure that helps....
