WAC gun show Feb 21-22
Time to get those hard to find parts nobody has, and tune up your guns. It's cheaper to do it now, in the off season. Went to the last show, huge crowd. Lots of deals. AR15's are cheap and plentiful. Ammo is still affordable and in stock and available in bulk. Only chance you get to have a hands on with some products that are hard to find. Puyallup and Monroe(14th-15th). Just a heads up in case you have a list like I do.
If you're not a member, it's $8 to get in. Read the rules before you go.
...please, nobody mentions this to my wife. wink wink. got that CFM?

Bump!! just a reminder, it's this weekend at Puyallup. If you go and spend lots of money, maybe you can shoot like this...

That's 2" at 200yards, first time out with a new scope. Left handed too. Bitch's!! Sub MOA with a stock barreled mini 14.

Re: WAC gun show Feb 21-22
lol, Right on! Well I've never been to a range with a 200 yard target before, so it was a first with my mini using a scope, and a first at that distance with anything. After reading a ton of forum critic nonsense about how bad the mini is for grouping, and how expensive it is to get one sub MOA, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm only shooting left handed for the last year after losing vision in my right eye, and I hate it. The only reason I did that well was the optics. A cheap 6-24 x 50, but now I can actually see the target. Quite an accomplishment for a one-eyed dumbass.
My mini.

My mini.

I learned something this week. The Showplex(at Puyallup) is a much better location. This weeks show was advertized as "pavillion", split between 3 smaller bldgs. The Showplex allows for 1000 tables, while the "Pavillion" format only has 500 tables. You cant move, or travel, way too cramped. I have a few choice words for the people who bring strollers to these venues. Less tables means less competition for sellers, everything was jacked up in price yesterday. I could only take about an hour of that shit, no way, never again.

Hairlip---Is that one of the new Mini-14's it looks like it from the Bbl. contour. If so they are supposed to be MOA capable more so than the old ones. In any case nice shooting.

Thanks chuck!
RVW, howdy!
It's a tweener, model 181-184(I think, poss. 185), the second generation mini 14. 180 series being the original. This is not the newer intergrated scope mount "Ranch Rifle".
The above pic was from a month ago, I admittedly went a little overboard since then. It now weighs 10.5 lbs. without the bi-pod. Picked up a 20mw green laser(badboy), and a reflex sight for the left side rail. It was a single rail, so I purchased a dual offset mount to hang them both. More important is that being blind in my right eye, the 45 degree offset puts the reflex where I can see it shooting right handed. It's a big deal for me to shoot (from a tactical standpoint) right handed. I tried tactical left handed, I suck, and fell all over myself. Even with one eye, right handed I'm fast like a cat!! lol. I added a flashlight to the right side and now it's done.
Here's the new additions.

Here's my view of the reflex. Really worked out bitchen.

Here's the stock rifle, which I can return my rifle to, in less than 10 minutes, using a philips screwdriver and one allen wrench.
