Is the what you are referring to boater?
For those of you that plan on going to this meeting, this is what the Commission will be considering

http://wdfw.wa.gov/commission/policies/draft2_hatchery_reform_policy_12may2009.pdf

This will be the new policy that they will be taking public comments on.

I think grandpa, Todd, CFM and boater should start their own chapter, the Fukowie Chapter.... 20

Yes, they are associates of the mothership fraternity, the well known "Hooduh" Fukowie.

i was thinking of a new group and call it "sportfisherman with common sense", unlike the CCA our goal would be to improve sportfishing, not commercial fishing 11

What the hell do you need another group for? You already have a group, Outlawfishing. Write a white paper, represented by the website and turn it in. Just as good a chance of being heard as any other group.

i`m going to try to put a letter together asking them about selective fishing for fall chinook on the columbia and what they think the encounter rate will be with wild fish, personaly after reading LOF`s post on the encounter rate i wont fish down there anymore, you could actualy fish all day and not even be able to keep a chinook.

You aren't the only one asking that question boater.

we should be watching our ocean coho catch also, any coho that sports dont catch will be givin to the gillnetters on the lower columbia.

Additional harvest opportunity would be available in river if ocean quotas are not reached, or if the Buoy 10 fishery harvest is less than expected. The coho fisheries would likely occur in Zones 1-3 during daylight hours with unslackened 6-inch mesh nets.
