my fishing report...

so i was figuring, hell im a member here, might as well give some info out... had to do a brake job today, after that got to the river at about 245 or so, first cast.... nothin, second, BAM, bootie pink, third, BAM, bootie pink... after that, me and my brother got fish on just about every cast, landed probably 80-100 in the 2ish hours we fished...ALL PINKS... and had teeth on them the size of my rott-pitt's, it was fun tho, been kinda down lately, good to get out and catch some fish, they still, bite, and still, fight, so it was ok....out of the fish we caught, there was probably a 75-80% fair hooked ratio... we each fouled about 10-15, not super sure on numbers, but not off by much... anyways, we fished the green.. and i CANNOT believe the fish people are keeping.... i wouldnt use them for crab bait even... my brother as we were walkin out, these 2 guys came up and said "what no fish?" i said no theres plenty, but i knew what they were getting at... read the name on the waders dude, it says SIMMS, yeah i dont catch fish lol (i know gear means nothing, i just like to say that stuff)... but my brother was gonna say, nah crab season is over, no need to keep pinks, i just about died, not as funny now, but i was happy for a bit at the time , and i laughed my ass off, feels good to laugh once and a while... he even gave me an excess 18v makita drill and impact.... hes a good dude... the river looks good tho.. hope to hit it next weekend as well...

I'm thinking I'll hit the Sol duc next week if the water is decent. Should be plenty of coho and a few kings around. I wont keep anything anyhow, so what the heck... I could go find some chantrelles as well!

the duc should be doin good by now... my brother went out to the quillayute and got a nice chrome bright nate about 3 weeks ago.... he let it go tho, said hes not keeping native fish....
