Now that GF has a new owner, anyone going to give it a try again? Assuming 'all is welcome' cheers

I guess that depends on who the new owner is? I think most of the people on GF are on other site as well?

Rory - while Big Daddy is a stand up guy it is going to take a long time for that board to start getting its positive reputation back. It is also going to take a change in how its moderated as well.

I'm gonna watch for a while is all I can say right now....

I would probably re-join now that ***hole has left, but how do you rejoin? change IP address?

I'm turning over a new leaf...let sleeping dogs lie as it were. Good luck to Bruce and his family. I can't be bitter forever. It's over.

I have been there and plan on staying. Hope some of you come back. It looks like there might be an infiltration of PPursuits people going there as well from what I read.

Be aware that Bruce is still a site admin there. Might still be in power to ban.

Bruce now has to answer to Big_Daddy and that may make all the difference in the world. I'm hoping to see Big_D work together with the Admin and Mods to make it a better site than ever before.

Why go back at all? It's been almost five years for me... Kinda like marriage. It was fun while it lasted, but glad it's over!

I don't know about the marriage part, but their are some old freinds that hang out there that don't go to other site. It would be nice to see old freinds, but don't know if are still freinds? For myself, I'll have to wait and see

What ever happened to Big D over here? Wasn't he a member for a while? I'll be curious to see what if any changes he makes to that site. I'm guessing the fish politics forum will be brought back.. Cant have this site having the only one!

Do you mean Bob D? I thought he was a co-owner at one time. Hell, what happened to most of us? That's why this forum is "Outlaw Fishing." :39:

There were several individuals that were pretty tight with Almighty that suddenly disappeared- POOF. Makes me go hmmmmm.

No I meant Big Daddy use to post here way back when it was just a few of us. I suppose the battle with Bruce probably turned him off here. I did like Bob D though! He was always willing to share info and even a trip or two with people.
