GF - new owner

if i remember right i booted big d from here because of some trouble going on over there and i think bob d just got fed up with the corporate direction that alot of the boards have went to and just said "f" it

Bob D was never really a site owner. He was interested at one time but due to a private matter between him and Bruce deceied to take the high road and stop posting. He does read it daily and still keeps in touch. He is one of the very nicest people you could ever meet! Has the kind of true warmth that really makes it fun to be around. Maybe he will post again.....

Big Daddy has been on my gun site since day one, and has always been really nice to me. he hasnt posted recently for hes prolly busy with GF now, seems like a really polite guy, never been rude to anyone over on my side. I cant belive it, was it sold or what? thats cool though, i think with the other guy gone it will maybe be better. I liked the people, i just didnt like the way a few (by that i mean less than 10) were treating others like trash. I wouldnt mind being unbanned so i can read the stuff i like reading, and there were actually a few members i liked pming with there, now i dont even remember who they were :35: Either way im just glad asshole isnt slashing good members anymore, i mean crap me and fishinfoolz got banned just for our PM conversation.

I am unbanned. I just wanna read updates on areas. :36: we shall see how it goes.

Nope that won't do it.

DB is right, deleting cookies wont do it. i was able to view but not log in. Big D had to fix it and issue a new passowrd Elkrun, I just emailed him and asked if i could be unbanned he was very nice about it and said he was welcome to have me back, just shoot him an email and ask.

I think it will be different, he is serious about the favoritism ending concerning moderation for everyone especially the contributing members and commercial advertisers. I think he has a very equal and fair direction for the site, I will remain positive. i have also read his thoughts on the ending of mean spirited attacks and personnal attacks coming to an end, so far good stuff. :103:

The site was ok for a week or two but it has gotten much worse. They are banning people left and right. At least 50% of the topics get deleted, even legit topics with a dozen legit posters, as soon as one person makes a comment the mods don't like the whole thread disappears. I've posted three reports with pics, that had many replies from established users than one troll comment and the whole thing is gone. The mods are oversensetive to anything and will just delete everything, instead of just the one comment. If you complain or ask why they deleted the topic, they just ban you. It's way worse than with Hook, makes me realize he wasn't the problem.

If you get banned. There are two ways they track you: cookies and IP address, if you delete your cookies and change your IP address, then you can read the site again or sign back up. Turning off your computer and router overnight will change your IP with most providers. If that doesn't work call your ISP and have them change it. Or just use a proxy, which obscures your IP address.

and Kracker, how did you get banned for a PM conversation?
