Dewalt mitre saws.

One of my carpenters brought the new Dewalt 12" chop saw in this week. I've never been a big fan of the Dewalt chop saw. I didn't like that no laser option was available other than the blade laser, until recently. Dewalt now offers the bolt on laser for their chop saws. The laser works ok, a little bulky, knobby, but it's a decent setup.

I'll be the first to admit I'm about as incompetent with a wrench as HLA is with a fishing rod , but I figured I could get my plow all put together and on the machine by myself. After all, I managed to get the winch in and wired correctly! This plow thing is kicking my tail! I've gotten the plow itself put together, but the damn bracket that attaches to the frame is a bugger! And its very heavy too!! Nearly impossible to hold it in place and get the bolts all lined up and started... I'm ...

Pretty rough shape

Now:

I removed the built in gutters as they were a pain in the ass and I was having to clean them out weekly. No more worries for me. Once the coating is dry and can hang my gutters and be done.

Smoker/Pit

Thanks to Brent's site, I built myself a new pit. It works like you can't believe, wow! I'm such a cheap bastard, the most expensive purchase was the thermometer, $20. I have @ $50 into it, the rest I had or procured from friends. The pit lets me go from very low temps, to high as you'd ever need it with very even temps across the grill. Dampening the firebox and smokestack made it very versitile, adjustable to the inth degree. I still have to learn how to use it, but wow what a ...

Rabbit hutch

Made a hutch for my neighbor. She's a single mom and somebody gave her 2 male rabbits. Soon as they were old enogh, they started to fight, chew each others nuts off, nasty. She'd never had rabbits before, and she had them in a freekin rubbermaid container for a 3 weeks.

So one of my sons vollenteered to make them a hutch. Actually, he vollenteered me to make the hutch, cause he took off hiking with his girlfriend for the day and left me holding the bag. Had some hardware cloth here, ...
