We ended up going 5-6 on Silvers with a nice sized Humpy thrown in. The smallest Silver was about 7-8 lbs and the other 4 were between 9 and 11 lbs. Big Guy lost another real nice fish right at the boat, while my old man got confused with the net and took about 6 swipes at my fish while Big Guys fish did the coho thrash next to the boat. I guess my old man needs to ...

I am looking for a little info on Willapa Bay. I have never fished the area but I am interested in heading down there maybe around the upcoming holiday weekend. I have done a little research on the methods, mostly herring with fish flash and according to the Regs it is open with a daily limit of 6, 2 being adult chinook. I guess my question is this: is it worth a trip during the first 2 weeks of Sept or ? Most of the articles I find on the subject are a few years old. Thanks for any information.

Junior has one on, Kevin goes to hit it with the gaff and swing and amiss tail shot didnt do much other than tick the fish off ...

Finally after some long runs Junior lands his own tuna and smiles were to be had

I fished the last four days this week out of PA. I already reported on the first two days... 7 caught on Monday, 5, Tuesday. Yesterday slowed down a little but I did manage to land two hatchery fish to take home, both in the high teens. Today was the end of our chinook season (a week and a half early because the WDFW simply cant stand it when we are actually catching fish...) However, I did land three today including two hatchery teens, and a mid twenties to release. After a great morning ...

Yesterday I was fishing locally around PA and limited on kings and pinks. One king was 33 the other was 24. Today a friend of mine for the Tri-cities and I went out to the same area and limited both of us for Kings and pinks by 10:00. The biggest fish was 43 pounds and yes, it was clipped. The damn thing was so big I couldn't close the lid on the fish box! The other kings were 25,22,13. I released seven fish yesterday inlcuding to hawgs. Today I released five. Tons of nice native silvers and Junior took it home with this 25lb king that put on a clinic with runs. Good times, great food and so many damn fish I am exhausted. Water was horrible until we pulled out today when it went dead calm and the skies finally cleared of fog after 2 days of GPS navigation. My sister, her husband and kids came up to go fishing. Now, lets start this off by saying that they have decided to sell their house and purchase a 50 foot sailboat to move all five of them into. So, they decide to come visit and I am to take them fishing. I call for a 4:00 wake up time, which ...
