mines not much but its caught some fish, and if you absolulty had to fish from a small boat you would want the mighty lund...electric DR's, good sonar and a seperate GPS chart plotter...no spilt screen for these old eyes...top speed is around 24 mph, handles rough weather, and you can take it anywhere via trailor or up tight to the rock walls for lings...

My 1987 Olympic Hardtop with 2005 Yamaha 115 O/B

Last summer I found a couple rotten stringers...So I had to do this to it:

And it ended up looking like this:

2 years ago it was a complete repower, last summer all new stringers, floors, vinyl, side boards, rear transom doors, and upholstery. I hired out the stringer and glass work and my brother and I did all the vinyl flooring install. I built all the side boards and doors and a friend of mine in the upholstery biz helped me with all the recovering. I am wondering what this season will bring.

Re: Let's see them.....
Funny, but I have loads of pictures from inside the boat, but only a couple OF the boat...
20' Hewescraft Sea Runner. 100 HP Yami, 8 HP kicker (Does low to mid 30's... but where I fish, you dont get the chance often!). Garmin finder, and GPS/Map. Pair of Scotty electrics. Added electric trim tabs, and washdown kit last tax return. THe boat handles more than I should be out in... Something about the rush of getting caught in rough weather makes me giggle while white knuckling the wheel. My friends think I'm nuts.. probably true. If I had it to do all over again, not sure I'd go aluminum since I fish only the salt. Plan was origionally to haul it around the state to fish springers, sturgeon, etc... never been in fresh water. Floats like a cork, can be a little tippy for those that get green. Kinda loud in rough water too. Put lots of fish in it though, loads of memories. Told the wife if we ever get in financial trouble, she can sell the cars, house, whatever... the boat stays. Never named it but thought about "Sanity Maintainence"
At Swiftsure bank buzz bombing coho 10 feet below the surface, what a kick... the water dont get that flat very often!

Unloaded and buttoned up after a trip. Musta been rain in the forecast!

This is my first boat.

I have a 10'er now.

I know you're all jealous!
Someday mine will grow up into a real boat.

Epi...
If you saw my first boat you would laugh so hard it would kill ya. 15 foot wooden Tiny...leaked like a old hag so much that after 20 minutes you fired up the Evinrude big twin 40 and ran all out at 15mph and pulled the plug to drain it

The Boice was our first big boat 20 foot...

Then 4foot-itus set in 3 years later...

We originally started out with a 12' lund though. We loved that little boat.
