STEERING WHEEL ALIGNMENT
Can anyone explain how to adjust a steering wheel alignment on a 2004 Silverado Z71 without the typical "take to the shop" answer...?
The truck drives straight, doesn't pull but the steering wheel is off center by about 3-4 inches or so. Is there A SEPARATE steering wheel adjustment or is it a tie rod toe in toe out thing...

Simple ....
Pull the wheel off, center it and put the nut back on.

Re: STEERING WHEEL ALIGNMENT
ok... a little more detail
Remove the plastic housing; remove the nut in center of wheel. More than likely you will need a pulled to remove (I have one ya can borrow) and then lift wheel off, center it on splines and torque the nut back on. Re install the plastic.

no where do I see you have to have Todd work with you while removing the nut

FF - there is a really good GM forum which has pretty extensive talk about this and the need to bleed off the voltage to the airbag etc. but it seems to be bogged down tonight.
